The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
The Academy of Natural Sciences is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. We are pleased to offer support to many community organizations and schools each year through donated admissions tickets for fund-raising purposes. As the Academy receives many more donation requests than we may fulfill each year, requests must meet specific criteria to be considered. The Academy of Natural Sciences relies on its admission revenue to support its operations and scientific research.
Eligibility Requirements:
-Requests must be made by organizations located within the greater Philadelphia region
-School donation requests must go directly to support the educational programs of the applying school
-Priority will be given to schools with a recent history of visiting the Academy (in the past 4 years)
Donations will not be made to organizations for the following:
-Church and/or religious group fundraisers including youth group fundraisers. (Parochial and private religious schools are encouraged to apply)
-Political fundraisers or organizations that are perceived to be political
-Recognition events for employees such as holiday parties, picnics, and other employee recognition events
-Medical research and awareness events
-Individuals, sports teams, block parties, performing groups, races, 5Ks, scholarships
-Third party fundraisers or sales promotion
By submitting a request you give BiddingForGood permission to contact you about expanding your fund-raising efforts.
All donation requests will be reviewed within two weeks. The organization requesting the donation will be contacted by email, regardless of whether or not the request is approved.
